When a Company (your Company) contracts with a PEO (PEO Team), the PEO will then co-employ the company workers. In this arrangement among a PEO, a workplace of the company employee will remain with you (your Company). Also, available for individuals (one person business).
The co-employment relationship, which involves a written agreement allocation and sharing of employer (the Company) responsibilities between the PEO. The relationship will develop a company service agreement (CSA) that governs the relationship. The Company will approve and provide the sum of hours (if not on salary) and the amount to pay to the PEO. The PEO also provides the form W-2 for the compensation paid by PEO employer identified number (EIN) on the behalf of the Company. The PEO typically remits wages and withholding of the work place workers and reports, collects and deposits employment taxes with local, state and federal authorities. The Company retains responsibility for and manages product development and production, business operations, marketing, sales, and service. The PEO and the Company can share specific responsibilities, as determined in the CSA.
